I'm Renelle Wolff, LCSW, PMH-C, a licensed clinical social worker with more than a decade of experience helping women navigate anxiety, life transitions, reproductive mental health, and insomnia.
After years of helping women navigate different challenges, I kept noticing one concern beneath many of them: sleep. I first became fascinated in CBT-I during a Menopause Society webinar. I completed training through the University of Pennsylvania, followed a year later by advanced training through Stanford’s Sleep Health and Insomnia Program. Since then, my practice has increasingly focused on Behavioral Sleep Medicine as I continue to learn that sleep is one of the most powerful foundations for emotional and mental well-being. When we improve sleep, we often improve anxiety, depression, resilience, mood, relationships, and overall quality of life.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the evidence-based, first-line treatment recommended for chronic insomnia because it addresses the underlying causes of sleep difficulties rather than simply managing symptoms with medication.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a mom to two adorable school-aged children and have been married to my Coast Guard husband for more than a decade. As a family we have moved many times, so I understand the challenges of navigating transitions, building community, and creating a sense of home wherever life takes you. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, running, and taking on small DIY home improvement projects.
I have been focusing on women's health for the past 14 years as a clinical social worker. Starting in a pediatric hospital, I quickly learned that one key to a healthy childhood is having supported, emotionally healthy parents.
I started my focus in women's health working in a NICU specializing in issues like pregnancy and infant loss, abortions, and support of medically fragile children. I then received the perinatal mental health certificate (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. I continue to support women in the early parenting phase with a much bigger scope now. I find myself drawn to working parents who are struggling with sleep and balancing the weight of it all.
I don't believe therapy needs to feel clinical or intimidating to be effective.
Sessions with me are conversational and collaborative. We'll make room for what's happening in your life while also working toward meaningful change.
Depending on what brings you to therapy, our work may incorporate behavioral approaches, values-driven exploration, specialized treatment for insomnia, anxiety treatment and interventions informed by my background in women's reproductive mental health.
You can expect me to listen carefully, ask questions, notice patterns and help you translate insight into something useful.
Not therapy where you wonder what you're supposed to talk about for 50 minutes.

When bedtime has become something you dread rather than look forward to. I provide specialized treatment for insomnia using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).

For women who are accomplished on paper but dealing with overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing and a brain that rarely clocks out.

Support through decisions on pregnancy, postpartum and the enormous psychological shift that can come with becoming a parent and all the way to changes in perimenopause.
Our mental health is shaped by much more than symptoms.
Relationships. Careers. Motherhood. Fertility. Pregnancy. Hormonal changes. Aging parents. Identity. Invisible labor. The expectations we carry and the expectations other people place on us.
I've spent much of my career working with women through these transitions.
Studio Wolff grew from the idea that women deserve therapy that takes their lives seriously without making every experience feel like a pathology.
I've spent more than a decade working as a clinical social worker, with specialized experience in women's mental health, anxiety, reproductive mental health and sleep.
